Looking the Second Life metaverse through the eyes of reality

Ryusho’s Retreat

Today I was browsing the marketplace in search of nothing in particular. I picked a few categories, clicked on Next page several times, until an Asian tower caught my eye. It was a simple Himalayan Watch Tower that looked more like a picture than an actual building. It had no slurl at the end of the description, as most inworld stores do, so I did a search for the designer using the viewer’s search function. In his Profile, there are several Picks, one of which, Ryusho’s Retreat, took me to the Mainland. And what a surprise! Another prime example of prim allowance put into good use (yes, there’s still hope).

This parcel is a chef-d’oevre, and is up for sale. Apparently it was conceived as a showcase of this artist’s work rather than a living space, and it will go with all: a 3168 sq.m. parcel filled with an enchanting walled Daoist temple, fully furnished, well trimmed garden, and dreamy atmosphere. So if you happen to have some extra L$80,00o0 it will be a freaking nice souvenir. If only I had the money, sighs.

So this is Ryusho Ort little world. To get to the Retreat in Oligard, follow this [slurl]. For his Marketplace store click here. If you want to make me happy, send me L$80k. Otherwise, more pictures after the break.
