No hope?

Internet has been hectic these last few loooong days. And things get worse because it’s the weekend, and all that I planned to do online has become bytes and bits in a pool of noise. And it’s raining… no: pouring outside, so there’s not so much fun in the real world either. I guess it’s a very efficient way to ruin your expectations: Will the techie MoFus fix things on time or will they just exhibit their best mediocrity, and prolong the agony even more? Funny the modern world is.

So I was going to do some landscaping project and take a few pictures of several new garden products I have bought lately, but couldn’t, due to the dreadful Internet connection (to put it in the most diplomatic way). All I managed to do was to take a few things out of the inventory and play a little with SL sky presents to present you at least this fabulous Ancient Virginia Live Oak from 3D Trees before the weekend is over. The tree is so huge and detailed that you won’t believe it’s just 26 prims in all. I’ve seen other green giants of similar dimensions that require no less than 90 prims to  build.

I wish I could go online again and take additional snapshots, sigh. If you need a more detailed picture, check the SL marketplace, or visit the 3D Trees shop inworld for an even closer inspection. Have fun, guys.

Pic note: “Glowy” touch added outside of SL.

    Hi Xeriko,

I decided to check out Live Oak at 3D Trees after reading your post and, just as you described, it is gorgeous! I got one and I am so impressed by the detail; it puts my willow trees to shame.

Anyhow, I was sad to see your post was titled as “No Hope?”; here’s a wish that things will improve for you soon!

    Callo
