Looking the Second Life metaverse through the eyes of reality

Chirihama Café

I’m afraid I may have ended up in somebody’s blog today. I went to take some pics of Y’s House’s Chirihama Cafe, and while taking the first shots, somebody TPed in. It was a lady, dressed in a long black and white gown. She has come to do some pictures herself, moving a black umbrella to the west then south, standing still between the flooded bushes, playing with the floating black bears… while I sat outside modifying the windlight settings. It was the same yesterday, and the day before, so that’s good because it means this coffeehouse attracts quite a bit of visitors.

That’s not a surprise of course, because it’s really good-looking, from the building itself (which is sold in Y’s House main shop) to every minute detail inside: the tarts, the fruits, the bread, even the marshmallows. What I didn’t understand are the pair of white llamas and the kangaroo smoking a cigarette while reading Le Petit Prince.

I finished my photo session (it might have taken me like an hour), and left, while the lady in the black and white dress kept swinging her body to the whistling sound of the camera as the shutter opened and closed to freeze the frame.

Visit the Chirihama Café in the sim of the same name.
