To the left, Apple Fall’s Tolix Inspired Industrial Chair, a rare gacha item from the current The Arcade September 2013 event. With luck, you can get it for 75L only (which is the base price) directly from the gacha machine. Right now, access to the Country Club sim is an act of pure luck too, so be ready to try, and try, and try until someone crashes and that fact lets you in, lol. If you prefer to look for it on the numerous Arcade related yard sales, prices seem to start at around 650L (the cheapest I’ve seen) and up to 2,000L, depending on avarice… I mean, on the lucky winner’s good will. Land impact is a nice 2LI, and it’s a non-copyable but transferable item. A single unit comes with 6 colors to choose from by way of a simple click.
To the right, there’s an army of The Loft’s Newcombe Stools, available at this month’s faMESHEd event. The set price for a single, copyable but non-transferable unit is 475L, with no luck involved, so if you want it, you only have to pay to get it. Land impact is twice that of Apple Fall’s, at 4LI, and if you wish different colors, be prepared to pay 475L for each, uff!
So which is best? I’d say, it depends on how lucky you are. I was fortunate enough to get 2 of Apple Fall chairs in my first few tries at the gacha machine (woot!), so that would be the way to go, but if you’re not that lucky and will go yard sale hopping, then maybe you should take a closer look at The Loft’s: you’ll save time and money. Though both chairs have a very similar (and quite nice) industrial look, I have to admit the rusty appeal of some of The Loft’s variety have a significant advantage over Apple Fall’s one (click the picture to enlarge it and have a better look). Yet, it’s only one color per chair…
