Starting May 3 and running ’til May 10 (yep, only one week), the Home, Garden and Patio Expo will showcase the works and products of several well known and not so well known architects, furniture makers, gardeners, landscapers and landscapists (sure they are there too) from all over Second Life. If you ever wanted a big shopping mall of flowers, trees and benches spanning four full sims, this is the closest you can get. By buying selected products you’ll also be contributing to this year’s Relay for Life event.
Don’t click this SLurl or you’ll land right in the expo’s center stage and can interrupt a show or concert (yep that’s what I did; I think I freaked out the dancers, but how would I know?). Use the following one instead [SLurl]. You’ll land in front of Organica’s booth, so that’s a good starting point, right in the corner of the Iridium sim. You’ll be safe to start your exploration from there. Of course, since no one is selling clothes or hairdos, lag is almost nonexistent, so you’ll be happy walking around.
