The Vanishing Café, take 2

If I’ll keep going with this list –even though I’ve just written one post–, why not reintroduce The Vanishing Café? It also has a new look as part of the plot’s face-lift of a few days ago. I wasn’t going to rebuild it after tearing it down to make room for the Autumn parcelscape, but I ended up with enough prims to revamp an otherwise empty corner.

The structure, made by Zacca, is actually intended for caffeine use: it’s called precisely the Garden Cafe. Though it’s kind of old –I think– it’s still available for purchase (inworld only). It comes with a kitchen (no stove though) and some seats.  For what I know, this rustic coffeehouse is somewhat popular, being a relatively common sight around SL, probably because it’s undoubtedly cute and pocket-friendly. So nothing you see in here may be that original, except for the small deck-(un)like extension I added to make it a little bit roomy.

At the “hearth” of the Vanishing Café lies a complete Animal Spice set I didn’t plan to collect, yet it happened. On my first draw at Anya Ohmai’s gacha machine at The Arcade’s Gacha Event last night (I almost miss it, since it ends today), there came a rare Noah’s Arc. So I said, Hmm  if I already have the stand and the pots are so nicely done, why not try out for the rest? Tempting! I think I was lucky enough to get most of them one spin after another… until I got Mr. Elephant and the Lioness like two and three times, respectively. I then stopped, only four animals missing. To make a long story short, I want to thank Cheebee Abbot and Juliet Starling, members of The Arcade group, for helping me to complete the set this morning. Thank you, ladies!

There’s no way to visit The Vanishing Café, except by finding out where that particular plot is (there are 28 thousand sims, so better start searching now), or you could also ask me inworld and make the trip a lot more simpler. Your choice.
