Bald Cypress

Swampy Christmas

If it rains on Christmas  we say the day is fucked, but if it snows Irving Berlin writes a song about it, Bing Crosby sings it and sells a million records. What the hell is wrong with you guys?!?!?!? It’s the same old shit: water precipitation, that’s all. Besides, with all probability, people living below the Tropic of Cancer –and that’s a lot of Earth, by the way– have never had, and will never have, a White Christmas… well, except the penguins in Antarctica and a few other southern freaks, but they don’t count because they don’t buy gifts for relatives nor chant Christmas carols in the freezing snow.

So if you hate white Christmas in SL,  I suggest you go for an enigmatic swamp. Why is that? Because 3D Trees has just released the most amazing SL bald cypress collection of all time. The set comes with baby, young, mature and old versions of the tree, plus a set of sky-pointing roots and some mossy ground cover to recreate the right atmosphere (nope, mosquitoes are not included, thank goodness). See the pics below.

My advice: take a flight south with the geese (though it may be too late for you), and enjoy a stay in the nearest bayou for a change this winter.
