I wanted to complete the plot makeover by changing my clothes, an activity I haven’t committed to since mid-September. It doesn’t mean I didn’t buy anything all this time. I did. It’s only that I didn’t find the right chance to put the things together into an interesting outfit. Actually, I even deleted half of what I bought after trying it once. So you see, I was in a really bad mood.
Lately, I haven’t been inworld long enough as to know what is new in the drama-driven fashion world –and I needed a total “overhaul” to get my interest back inworld–, nor have I the time to go on a shopping tour of discovery. So after several visits to my favorite stores, and not finding anything appealing, I decided to check what was going on in male fashion blogs as of late. There are a few I really think are inspiring and full of good taste, such as Galliano’s, Wyatt’s, Tact’s, Carthalis’s, Vo’s, Sidney’s, and Zephir’s (check the Links section to find their blog urls), and a visit to each of them proved to be better than teleporting here and there.
So the set you’re looking at is far from being original. It’s actually a modification of one of Wyatt Wellman recent blog posts in Virtual Drifting (28-Nov-10: Snowdust Memories). Initially, I just wanted to use the parka, but then I said: “If I put something else I’ll fuck the look”. That was my first thought. Second thought was: “Why do I worry, if that’s exactly what some other people do: Copy the basic style from somebody else’s pictures, change the pose, and go as new”. Yes, I’m sure about that. At least I’m giving full credit.
And what did I change? To begin with, colors obviously. My set is black. No wonder there. I put on a different hairstyle, another scarf, added a shirt, kept my previous gloves, and pick up a pair of shoes I also found on another of Wyatt posts. The result is what you see. Poses are from the AO.
