Looking the Second Life metaverse through the eyes of reality

Et voilà

Sure enough all of you have come to this: You’ve worked your land, have everything set, except something you’re missing to complete the picture. You have an idea of what it is, but it isn’t in your inventory. You start shop-hopping trying to find anything that may resemble what’s on your mind, but there’s nothing to fill the gap. So you come back home and… make it yourself.

So I wanted to re-use some off-sim items I had in Nowhere a year ago [see the post], but after moving them here and there I thought they didn’t fit the current landscape. So I put out some old Heart’s Garden Center off-sim Volcanic Peaks, retextured them to look “coastal green” (or what I thought it should be), added some of Tobias Novi pines over 50m long megaprims, et voilà: insta-off-sim mountains. They may not be perfect, but they came up at no extra cost.

The “real” land stops at those light-gray rocks you see at lower left corner in the picture above.
